Metalworking Tool Accessories Manufacturer for CNC Lathes and Mills
Accessories that help deliver high-quality output consistently
At Arris Tooling, we produce high-quality metalworking tool accessories to complement CNC machining and milling machines. We have been in production since 2008, creating machine parts and accessories that help our domestic and international clients deliver consistent results.
As a metalworking tool accessories manufacturer for multiple industries, our products adhere to global industry standards and meet diverse applications.
Manufacturing Process of Metalworking Tool Accessories
At Arris Tooling, we produce our accessories using forging and subtractive manufacturing in our state-of-the-art facility.
Forging: Spanners and Clamping Kits
Billeting and heating
Technicians put together a billet of chrome vanadium or iron-alloy and heat it to a predetermined temperature.
Forging
Smiths forge the hot billet into a rough shape using power hammers and a press.
Trimming and Annealing
Workers trim off excess metals and then allow the tool to cool slowly.
Broaching/Machining
Machinists add the final touches and use a broaching machine to add precise internal teeth and gaps to the spanners.
Heat treatment
Workers introduce the tool to a pre-heated kiln for heat treatment to bring about the desired material strength.
Finishing and inspection
Workers apply a coat of paint to the clamp and spanner's body. Engineers test for dimensional accuracy, material hardness, surface smoothness, and product-application fit using Go/No-go gauge testing.

Subtractive Manufacturing: Chamfer and Locking Devices
Sintering and heat treatment
Workers sinter carbide rods and heat treat steel rods to get them ready for the production process.
CNC grinding and milling
Operators grind and mill the rods into shape, aiming for tight tolerance.
Precision slotting
Technicians cut slits into the locking devices using precision sawing and electrical discharge machining (EDM).
Coating
Workers apply coating to the specific parts, in line with standard industry practices.
